Sancho was 17 and didn't want to sign a new deal and be patient, phil has just signed a 6yr one and will have seen what the plan is for him before he signed, chalk and cheese, how much longer are people going to hold sancho against the club?
I'm not holding it against the club. But whatever way you spin it Karen, we let Sancho leave and it is was a mistake. He wanted playing time, Foden wants playing time, he has openly said so. There are worrying similarities.

What will be will be, but the signs aren't good. A stomach bug usually clears up pretty quick so we should know if all is ok by the weekend for Watford if he takes his usual spot on the bench to watch others play.

We didn't promise playing time to a 17yr old,not a club in the world would do that,so we didn't make a mistake, for all we know he has found his level in germany and wouldn't have done it herephil has daves spot in his sights,he signed a 6yr deal knowing the plan for him,all players want to play,he is no different there, the hysteria about sancho and phil is relentless

Perhaps we should of made sure he signed another ? Instead of spending tens of millions on a player who has turned out to be more miss than hit. Hindsight is a wonderful thing but it was a mistake the club made.

Bringing players through is like the holy grail and it's blasphemous to even suggest that the club is being built for profit like every other club. Being ethical wont win us things by design, we're that cosmopolitan it doesn't matter if a player comes from Stockport or Bahrain and on this business model it shouldn't raise an eyebrow.
