No chance Pep starts Foden at Anfield sadly. He will rather play completely out of form Bernardo instead.

i'm assuming we'll start de bruyne, which means foden will be competing with silva for lcm and bernardo will be competing with mahrez for right wing.

Bernardo isn’t in great form but if he’s not suspended he should play. One thing I like about Bernardo is that he doesn’t hide and we will need his work rate and drive against Liverpool. The bigger problem for me is David Silva, because of his age he seems to becoming more and more passive as the season goes on. I don’t think Pep will pick Phil Foden anyway but for me, if he did it should be for Spanish Dave and not Bernardo Silva.

Dave may well be out and Bernardo will be banned, so it will be Nico and Stones at CB and Dinho-Gundy-KDB in midfield.

Foden provides energy and a goal threat lacking in too many of our players who are reluctant to get into the opponents area.
In part this is due to us dominating possession so players become static. Foden gives a dynamism that the likes of Bernardo gave last year but is lost when he plays wide.

Hoping Foden is selected sunday..there isnt really a case for leaving a goal scoring midfielder out,so many others are out of form or injured.not shy on penalties either.
