Having no defined position for so long has destroyed him. Can’t beat a man anymore, isn’t creative and can’t do anything well apart from shoot. Pep’s got to be held accountable for his stagnation - he was universally acknowledged as the best English talent of a very talented generation, but at this rate he won’t make the World Cup squad.

Besides that 3-4 week stretch back in December/January, he's been crap.No argument from me on how crap he was today and Wednesday but I don’t think he’s been this bad the rest of the season, although clearly it’s not been a good one for the lad.
But I think Rashford comparisons or saying he should be sold are unfair and massively premature after he dragged us to the title last year and has been very good ever year before that.
Should be benched until he can at least show up with the effort needed because we're pretty much playing half a man down whenever he's on.

Play McAtee in his place!We don't have the depth to drop him in at the minute. Either they are injured our similar to Foden in that they too are out of sorts. We have to ride out the rest of this season and regroup.

Gundo maybe isn't worth playing, but Bernardo will at least do some of the dirty work to make up for not being good offensively and Grealish hasn't been nearly as poor as Foden has been.They too aren't in great form either.

He looks like he's lost interest in the game and needs a fresh challenge.
