Totally agree, and the performances he puts in for England are the ones you see now at City when he's not surrounded by more quality senior players.

He's content being the young gifted footballer, in a side containing a world class KDB/Rodri/Silvas etc

The day has come for him to take the mantle and he just hasn't got the mentality to take it.

Is that not what he did last season? He won us the league in my view and outperformed everyone other than Rodri
