47 | Phil Foden - 2024/25

He gets a very easy ride because he is a local lad,
I don't agree with that. There has been, over the years, many local lads like Derek Jefferies, Tony Towers, to name two,who were given a rough ride despite being local lads. Foden is loved by the City's fanbase because he's an excellent player.

Foden is way ahead than Jefferies or Towers ever were.

Ranson and Edgehill the abuse those two got was shocking and a disgrace to our fans that did it.

Foden this season has been poor, without KDB and Rodri he needed to stay at last years levels but he is way off, yet you here very little saying so.

He needs to get that level back, he should be one of our teams leaders on and off the field now.

Yes locality has nothing to do with it. You could add Paul Power, Richard Edghill and even Nicky Summerbee (family associations) to the list

Feels like he has off field issues. The whole “sickness” for weeks, not getting picked when he was supposedly fit, and the performances when he supposedly is. Summats up.

There has been reports of him having low iron deficiency over recent years. Didn’t seem to affect his form last year. Earlier this month it was reported he has moved his personal chef into his estate to help with ensuring he keeps up his iron levels in what he eats.

Low iron defficiency (anaemia) can lead to feelings of exhaustion, insomnia, and heart palpitations. The report included a statement that he has it under control now.

It may be it was this that led to his early form. Onwards and upwards from here.
