‘Star boy’? wtf are you on about you little blow in muppet. His mum would knock the fuck out of you.
Didn't take the knuckle dragging pedestrian to start getting aggressive. Gonna start offering people out over the Internet again you mug?

Nobody can deny that Foden has been poor for most of the season……..but the comparisons with David Silva ( who was my favourite ) are unfair.

David usually had Barry, De Jong, Yaya, or Fernandinho to help protect him in the middle……Foden had Rodri last season (and he won POY)…….this year Kovacic !

We probably had the best midfield for the best part of ten years…….we certainly haven’t now.

I love Phil and he's very obviously a quality player.

My quibble with him - if quibble is even the right word - is that he's 24, a few months from 25, and still hasn't consistently shown he can be the primary creator or playmaker for a top team.

I've seen for years on here that he should be playing central, he's wasted out wide, etc. and I always wonder well, when is he going to consistently show that, because he simply hasn't yet.

This isn't an anti-Phil post, and I hope that it's not taken as one. I just think he's more than likely going to be most effective as attacking midfielder and secondary creator (and a fantastic one at that). He's not going to take over for KDB - he needs to play with a KDB.

The DM usually protects the defence not the attacking players.

Think he looks more like his old self regardless of today. He's not as dynamic as he was 3-4 years ago which I miss.

I agree with this 100%, great post.

MSo many posts on this thread saying he’s not the next KDB. No, he ain’t. Let’s accept that and appreciate what he is and what he does bring.

Started to look a little better in the last few games but something is so off with him. He never turns and runs forwards with the ball anymore, seems happier just passing it back to the person who gave it to him. This is the phil that plays for England not our version. The pass today was fucking awful, didn't even appear to look where he was playing it either.

Lazy fucker, don’t know what’s wrong with him. He’s lost his edge, his pace etc. Can’t remember the last time I saw him pick the ball up in the half turn and drive with the ball. He just turns back on himself and plays the easy ball all the time now.
