It isn’t good enough. We need consistency from Phil. He should be driving the team forwards right now.

Frankly, a bit like with Jack I’m not sure I totally buy the constant non-specific injuries and illnesses.

Other than this season, I can’t think of any other time in which he’s been on and off. When he was breaking through, he was outstanding and then he started to mature and had his best season yet last season.

Don’t know what’s caused his problems this season but his chances of bouncing back are bigger than almost anyone given his age, experience and current level of development. Surely a keystone for the rebuild.

As someone said in the Grealish thread, this was his chance to step up and show he's the future. So many players not firing that it was his chance to be the go to player. Not sure what his problems are, but this was the time when we needed him.
