I think he's going to have a lot of stats this season. He won't have to shoulder the entire creative burden alone anymore; Cherki will be there to share that responsibility with him, absorbing more players and creating much more space for him. With time and playing together, they could produce some truly beautiful performances.
The Foden-Cherki duo should take inspiration from the Xavi-Iniesta partnership (in a similar way). In any case, it's very promising.
