Hopefully some posters are feeling a little embarrassed after losing their heads after one poor performance in what has been a great season so far for Phil.
Promising link play already with him and Cherki. We don’t pass to him enough. Rodri and Cherki seem to be the only players who find him consistently
Spot on mate.Pep needs to find the right system that allows Cherki, Phil and Erling to play from the start. Erling needs Rayan's ability to find him and Phil finding lovely gaps to do what he does best. A natural goalscorer and looks very close to being back to his best.
A lot depends on if Rodri can play alongside Nico to give them insurance. For me today Cherki for Bernardo and hopefully sooner than later Rodri for Tijjani and we'd be pretty much ok.
This is not true, he's been as crap as often as he's been good this season. He was on 1 goal in the league before today, crazy to call that a great season. It's just biased fans who don't want to acknoweldge reality. I dont even think he was even that good today, outside of the goals. He's so weak in the challenge and him in the centre is a big chunk of the reason why we cant control games any more.Hopefully some posters are feeling a little embarrassed after losing their heads after one poor performance in what has been a great season so far for Phil

Considering the disruptions, he absolutely is. He's only going to get better.I love Foden but in no way is he having a great season
Stepped up today. Still our best chance for goals after Haaland.
He's not like Kev and he's not like David.Doesn’t have to be the main man in the sense of driving the team on like Kev was for years - just needs to stand up and make a difference when it matters.
Which he did today. Again.
Seen that he has moved above Beckham and Yaya for premier goals. He is only 1 Champs Lge goal behind Slippy G. 2 behind Lampard & 4 behind the ginger toe sucker. He's not like Kev and he's not like David.
He's a goal scoring midfielder. He is more like Lampard in that he arrives in the right place and has a great finish.
I bet there is not another midfielder who has anywhere near 100+ career goals at the age of 25, in England.
Not like here to be reactionaryHopefully some posters are feeling a little embarrassed after losing their heads after one poor performance in what has been a great season so far for Phil.
It’s not all about goals, he’s been ace and played deeper most of the seasonThis is not true, he's been as crap as often as he's been good this season.
