Just so happened I watched it this past weekend for the first time in at least 20 years. Remains (pun intended) a great, great film.

Few are the films that are truly sans pareil. I’d put Jaws in that category. Utterly brilliant script, spellbindingly filmed. It had / has everything.

God that makes me feel old. Remember when I watched it for the first time when I was a kid. Most have watched it 30 times since.

For me, the best film ever made. When I first watched it in the cinema there was an interval and it’s the only time I’ve ever heard a cinema audience burst into spontaneous applause.

I reckon I’ve watched it at least 40 times and I can happily watch it again and again. It’s perfect.

Kes for me but Jaws runs it a very, very close 2nd. It is perfect. But Kes was / is perfecter!!!!
