4th spot..tough but in our hands!

Yes, Salfordpaul, I think you are dead right!

With the Chelsea win, and our rock solid partnership forming at the back with Lescott and Kompany, I think we are in a fantastic position now. Johnson is getting more and more accustomed to our style of play,Vieira is back soon as well to give competition, if we can manage to crush Tottenham (and I see no reason why with our great team atm), our run for the 4th spot looks better than ever.

Oh shit!

well there are two games there that they will definately lose (you would think)...utd and chelski

the others: portsmouth, west ham they will beat you would think and i would imagine that they will beat sunderalnd definately as well

the birmingham away game is a touch one for them

We win our games we take the prize!
Come on city.
I hope we're 4th and spurs 5th, that would help me get over the 81 cup final!

Especialy if we spank them to even the goal difference up!

Never felt this perky on a Monday night for a while. Great night of football.

Now is the time to stand up and be counted. We have had endless opportunities to kick on and cement this 4th position. Now is crunch time. We have a great opportunity to beat a struggling side on Sunday (although they will obviously raise the game for us). I have a sneaky feeling Adam Johnson will shine on Sunday with it being against his home town club.

If there is ever a best time to play Fulham (A) it is when we play them. They have United, sandwiched in between playing Juventus twice then the little matter of playing us. Hopefully they will be jaded and have there minds elsewhere playing city.

I can see signs of us hitting a bit of form. We have siome stability at long last at the back, and we have more than enough quality at the other end of the pitch.

Come on city lets string a few victories together and put the pressure on the other teams

36 Year old GSOH looking for top flight European Football. Have passport will travel. Looks not important.
A bit of Blue sky thinking! KPI's lol I also had to laugh at that. I hear that in my job all the time KPI's this KPI's that. SLA's.
I like the Blue sky thinking outside of the box.
Well Mancini has an SLA to hit fourth spot.
It is not rocket science. we need to hit the ground running after the Chelsea win Play well play with spirit.
We are ahead of the curve with the game in hand on Spuds and play them at home.
We are not in the cups. Everyone else around is in at least one. Use this to our advantage.
Come on City do not fxck it up again. I am too used to failure and falling at the final hurdle.

Lads we need to pray come Saturday that those Stoke cunts mug Villa and at the very least get a draw. Not liking that Villa are just 4 points back and have a game in hand, hopefully if they lose then that'll give us a bit of a cushion.

Also we need to pray that Big Sam's band of merry men pull a great performance away from home out of their arses against the Spuds and nick a point too.

If both of those things happen and we come away with a win on Sunday then fuck me we can realistically start believing it's going our way.

It's in our own hands OK, I just have the feeling it will prove to be like a wet bar of soap!

We cannot afford to rely on other teams to take points off our rivals

we must now see a change in attitude from mancini (like he did at chelski) and he must go out there with much more positive teams and approaches (ie less defensively)....

the next two away games are both winnable if we do this.

and the two homes games against villa and spurs....take points off them both and we could just about do it

I was having a look at everyone's remaining fixtures yesterday and had Liverpool finishing on 72 points. That's now at 69.

Spuds have a few tough games. Stoke and the rags away, Chelsea and Arse at home. IMO, they wont get anything from those four games, plus they have to play us at CoMS.

Advantage MCFC.

Does anyone know when the Spurs game is on? We really need to get a couple of goals win from them. I really hope that 9-1 'freak' they had earlier in the season isn't what gets them 4th spot. All credit to us though, we have clawed back a lot of that goal difference. It's been a concern of mine for a while if I'm honest.

If we had beaten Liverpool at our place they would be dead and buried now!!!

Its still in our hands and Villa look to have an easier run in I hope they slip up!!

They are dead and buried. It was more important not to lose that game than it was to win it. Ditto Spuds at home, ditto Villa. It is at Sunderland, home to Wigan and the Blue Dippers, away at West Ham etc that we really need wins.

And by god do we need to beat the rags.

For lots of reasons.
