i'm not really here
did i here that right that ko was at 5.45 at goodison. what a stupid time to kick off with people still at work etc,no wonder attendances are dropping

I thought this. Especially when it looks like it was not shown on TV. I thought it might have been on Channel 5 or ITV 3 or 4 but I culdn't see it listed. I wonder what the Attendance was.

Apparently its because they cant clash the kick off times with the Champions League and they cant play Thursday because Liverpool are at home.

Was it on Setanta?

Its live on ESPN and a virtual sell out, barring the first few rows that never seem to be sold for any European games at any ground.

Better than the kick off time we had a couple of seasons ago at home to Everton in the premiership, think it was 11am or there abouts, whats all that about !!!!

'Twas a Sunday at 11.30. Another crackpot ko but at least it wasn't a working day for most, and unless you were blotto from Saturday night or coming from southern counties . . . . Still a stupid time. We have definitely got to the point where new fans wouldn't see the significance of 3pm ko on a Saturday.

I remember it well, if memory serves there was no beer on sale at the ground so any chance of hair of the dog was out the window. If i'm wrong I must have been too hung over to drink and a bovril would have made me hurl!!!!! I'm all for football on TV but not at the expense of the working man
