Asked about this yesterday on the way to the Bristol City game and it seems that no one could remember us ever playing 5 away games on the bounce, does anyone know if we have? " Not in my lifetime " anyway I think. Been them all Arsenal, Forest, Leipzig, Bournemouth and Bristol City. I can honestly say can't wait to get to the Etihad and be at home Saturday. Thoroughly exhausted but loving every minute. Well done to everybody who sampled even a minute, been a top journey. Off to work now CITY CITY CITY.

Your post reminded me of a spell in the late 70s, so I checked on BM's history section.

20th March to 4th April 1979, we played 5 aways in 15 days. I missed the European trip but went to the other four, memorable only for Mick Channon's free kick at Highbury and Barry Silkman's debut goal at Ipswich!
