Unlikely as Pep gets the squad to vote for a group of Senior Players and Captain. It will be interesting to see if they vote for John before next season. I can certainly see him being promoted to the Senior Players group.

I predicted John would be captain one day but that was long before we signed Dias and I think he should get the armband next year; especially as he is currently our least rotated outfield player. If Sergio and Dinho both leave, there's two spots on the senior player table so Stones and Dias could both join the group.

On last seasons John stones performance thread last summer every **** wanted him shipped out, for 15/20 million or on loan lmao and I was banging the drum for him saying he was the best centre back at the club . Glad he’s proved himself . Top top player and only 26
I was with you on that too. I got pelters for suggesting he’s better than Garcia.

He was until this season, comfortably.
No chance Laporte came into a team that was top by 18 pts and was giving a easy ride. The next season he was ok at best made a few mistakes then he’s been trash. No way was he miles above John. Was masked by our domination

Trash and Laporte should never be associated in the same sentence. He's one of the best.

As important as Dias has been Stones is the best CB at the club this season. Another classy, faultless display.

Imperious again.

He has gone from 4th/5th choice CB at City, to one of the best CBs in the world in the space of 12 months.
