Getting back into his stride after a stop/start season , with Dias the best centre back pairing we have , laporte can have no complaints about losing his place after the Palace debacle , but he will be invaluable over a season , whether Laporte has the patience to gather splinters in his arse on the bench is another thing , because he will want to play for Spain in the world cup.
No surprise we play our best football with him playing IMO - his passing and intensity on the ball brings purpose. Not to mention his ability to find spaces with those passes. Undroppable and has been since the start of last season.

Biggest compliment you can pay him is we don't miss Dias when Stones is on the pitch. He's a leader himself now.

Class, nothing against eric, but stones and dias is our best cb pairing, and has been for the past year.
