Do you expect him to carry a banner saying I’m not fit!! Or maybe he has to look extremely pale and frail!

As for the people maligning his mental health have you been talking to his Doctor? If so the doc should be struck off, if not (the more likely scenario) then show us some proof!

Sometimes I just wonder what folk expect of our players. They get paid good money yes but that doesn’t give anyone the right to know everything about their health or their private lives.

Or it could just be that, as City are not training at present, he’s getting some training in and will come back to us for the CWC?
Maybe the England camp are trying to get back in Pep’s good books after him complaining that they sent him back injured once before or wouldn’t release him for our CL game that time?

But that’s too simple some folk prefer to malign a great player’s intentions/reputation rather than think he is trying to get his fitness back.
You are with me I guess @Macca77macca (but he’s still all mine to look after *lol* you can have him back when he’s fighting fit)

Exactly. We are NOT training so he is getting some training in to prepare him for the CWC as well.

Can you not see the sense in him building his fitness back whilst we are NOT training so he is taking a great opportunity.

This is showing John Stones, MANCHESTER CITY and England using their noggins and thinking ahead!!!

I don't see sense in him jetting off on a jolly with England, no.

If his focus was on City we have the best facilities in the world for him to work in to get back up to speed, he can do it here.

He will no doubt push himself to the limits to desperately salvage his England career which he holds so dear.

You know how to pick players Eccles Blue! He is one of my favourite players of the more recent future, and a rolls royce of a player. Unfortunately, as with all players their time comes to an end. One injury too far this time around. I think Viana is spot on gutting this side, but I know it hurts for now. Long term, the right decision.

Thank you. The like is for the first part. I know you may be correct about the last part but can’t say I agree just yet because I will be devastated if/when it happens. :-(

Mike Summerbee, Richard Dunne, Joe Hart, Vincent Kompany, Zabaletta and John Stones. Wonderful examples of City’s finest. :-)
