Im really looking forward to us not signing Hummels so everyone can whine over and over and over and over about how great he is before someone chips in with Subotic and then Dax777 starts crying because Vertonghen was so good his only choice was Spurs

Laugh all you want. But while I was busy lauding Vertonghen last year, we went ahead and Bought Savic, and here we are a year later supposedly selling him and buying Nastasic. So clearly, even the powers that be are admitting that one didn't go too welll. Signing Vertonghen has given Spurs the confidence to let King retire, put Dawson on the block and and send the Camerounian on his way. That is 3 CDs that they are confident letting go, simply from gaining one guy.

The blue tinted need to belittle everyone that we don't get is silly. We wouldn't get everyone, but I am certain Vertongehen would have been 100 times better than Savic. And for that alone, I am certain I was right about who we should have gone after last summer.

Didn't get him, we weren't even in for him just like every other top club in Europe wasn't. Spurs was his best offer, laud him all you want mate quite clearly he is just below top class at the moment while Savic is dog shit cant disagree with that
