I see them dropping points vs Everton which will give us the momentum due to 'United wobbling' Everton are always strong finishers. We need to be close to capitalise. One final swing in our direction!

Five points is nothing considering we have to come to your place.

It really would be squeaky bum time if we went into the last two games with a meagre 2 point lead.

If we beat Arsenal it'll be back on again. That would leave 2 tough game for City. Newcastle and Utd.

I think all our games could be tricky. Aside from the trip to your place, the Everton game sticks out as being a potential banana skin.
I was at last seasons home game against Everton. It took a late Hernandez goal to clinch it.

All games are key now. Horrible cliche, but one game at a time.

Let's win ours, and let the the other results take care of themselves. If we do that, then we might get lucky...

COME ON CITY!!!!!

Could I get an explanation from the doom merchants as to why they have to perform post mortem after post mortem with every unfavourable result. It is an unpleasant process and should be avoided until it becomes a necessity. We may soon have genuine cause to conduct said post mortem, but FFS, save it for a more desperate situation than five points behind with seven still to play. All some people on here are doing is reliving the whole thing week after week. Why can't people stop with the whole sack cloth and ashes campaign until it becomes appropriate.

What worries me is that we go from 5 points clear to 5 points behind. That my friend, is a fucking 10 point swing and clearly shows one side consistently getting results, and the other side not.

What I fear is that United well drop points, but we might not even be able to capitalise on it.

When we've only won 2 away matches since Christmas, I do not feel very confident...and to be honest, rightly so.

I do have hope, however, and that is different from confidence.

That's fucking alarming.

As a doom merchant I feel I should point that our manager on 3 seperate occasions has addressed the press in his post match interview and said that he didn't prepare the team well enough. Everton away, Swansea away and Lisbon home.

The post mortem happens after every shit performance because we demand to know why this so called team full of superstars, being managed by the amazing Roberto Mancini, can't seem to motivate themselves to win this fucking league.

It may be worth pointing out that us doom merchants celebrate and rejoice like the rest of us when we put in an fantastic performance. So just goes to show you how our season has panned out from Christmas onwards.

We've only won away twice since Christmas and now we're going to have to win 4 out of 7 to stand any chance of winning the league.

Happy clap all you want but remember that this is a forum open to opinion. Just because it doesn't agree with yours, doesn't mean to say it's wrong.
