There is a CL final and the team selected tonight apart from KDB may well have been a trial run for that final, unfortunately Cancelo's sending off ruined Pep's plans. The team for the final need to be match sharp and Brighton are decent opposition, a great opportunity to tweak his plans and any knocks would have 11 days to heal. Putting the players in cotton wool won't win the CL. and the Everton game will be an end of season farewell to fans game and too close to the final for a change of plans.

Why is he even still getting games? We’d Laporte and Ake sitting on the bench and that comes on
If something goes wrong in the final, an injury or a red card surely we’ll not be seeing him introduced
 
Im still very bitter about Sane leaving. Then seeing this joker still getting game time despite trying to leave and not signing a contract is beyond me.

He’d struggle in the championship
 
It was a joke that a kid who’s not even good enough but also leaving got game time ahead of Laporte and Ake.

Another one of those baffling decisions that Pep does at times.
 
I said it from the very first moment that there is nothing special about him. At that time no one thought he wouldn't extend his contract with us and everyone talk about him being the next Puyol. All the things I said then are relevant to the present as well. He just does not fit these levels. He is short, slow and skinny. I can't believe Barcelona offer him a contract. It's going to explode in their face when they realize the mistake.
