As I recall the match was postponed then rescheduled I was going to the game originally but could not go to the rev arranged fixture. It still bothers me

In fairness it became obsolete as soon as we got relegated in 1983. That particular era of success had gone.

Bell scored the goal, but I think he’d joined a few weeks earlier

According to Wikipedia, he played 11 games for City that season, scoring 4 goals.
