50 Years ago today. Chelsea v City FA cup

That pitch, though. Unbelievable. And that was in January. Still three more months to play on it.

Funny. I have no memory of Arthur Mann, whatsoever. And I can remember some of our lesser luminaries from that era well. But just a blank on him.
An ex Hearts player.Fondly remembered by Hearts fans from that era.
I loved the bell ringing after the third goal.
Helen couldn't have missed many games as you can here it at most games back then.

Its interesting what we remember, i actually don't remember the game in question, and have to think hard about the past, i suppose we remember certain details, which affected us personally, but the seasons roll into one for me these days. Some of the games mentioned i remembered, Chelsa CWC SF, Arsenal FA CUP, but it gets difficult without checking up. Who could forget Helen, like many, i once ended up on a coach with Helen, it was like having my mum with us.
But i did sing with everyone else, Helen ring your bell.

Yes was at the game sat in the stand facing teams run out with my two mates it was week after I got married (Blackpool away 3-3).Next round we drew the eventual winner's Arsenal was called off on the Saturday waterlogged pitch then following midweek we lost 2-1.Also same season was at the Bridge for the cup winner's cup Semi, stood bottom of shed end with my navy blue and white scarf nicked off some Everton fan at Goodison.Remember after the cup win queuing outside Fulham Broadway with my mates Chelsea fans saying I hope I see some facking City fans Lol.
