Re: 5000 points for Salburg away
Don't worry mate. It sounds high, but the whole point of loyalty system is to offer 'most loyal' (and I use that phrase with extreme caution and sweepingly, I won't go into the merits of why someone hasn't accumulated loyalty points, but just basing it on the loyalty points sytem of rating 'loyalty') fans first dibs on tickets.
For derby games and stuff, they usually start at about 6,000 tickets, and usually come down to just over the 4,000 points mark before they sell out, that's for a derby.
The tickets start selling at 5,000 points, the day after 4,000, then down and down.
Having heard and seen other clubs ticket systems, I think we have the best. When it was introduced in the final season at Maine Road, it seemed to be a slow reaction to the Wembley '99 ticket allocation system. But now, it's really coming into its own now. It is definately the fairest way of distributing tickets.
