52 | Oscar Bobb - 2025/26

Feels like a confidence thing. He needs to get a goal or create a few good chances.
It was his run and pass that led to Cherki striking the post. He’s a talent and the club will give him the time he needs.
Bobb, Cherki, and Marmoush all possess great technical ability and will dovetail nicely in the tight spaces, particularly in the second half of the season when teams become frit.

He's so much more talented than he has been showing. It's like he's trying for a magical goal each time

He’s young, returning from a lengthy injury, and not playing consistently. Guardiola has three young wingers and is trying to nurse them all slowly into fitness and form, which might not happen until after Christmas. We just have to be patient, but that’s a precious commodity here.

True. I think all three need to start adding quick snap shots into their arsenal - at the very least, it makes the defenders think it's an option.

He’s currently a good young squad player who can fill in and do a job. Needs to grow up a bit, mature in his game, and realize where his strengths fit into the team and use them accordingly.

Still worth persevering with but there is no doubt that he isn't quite up to first team standard just yet. We are fortunate that we have plenty of cover and can ease him back into contention.

Perfectly good player. Not a difference maker yet. He took on a bit of a mythical role when he was out and people are expecting him to live up to what they created in their own heads. We need to lower expectations and appreciate him for wha he is and hopefully he will kick on

Timid…. Was watching our under 21’s last night against Rotherham and said this is Oscar Bobb Bobb Bobbs level

He is part of the problem, but the greater problem is that right side was just dead.

Bobb having to hold the width without any wide fullback is not gonna work for him.

Your asking him to constantly just dribble 1v2s we saw today and what's the point?
It’s been like that forever same with Doku. They are always alone
