5th Round - confirmed Sunday 4pm kick off

I think it's a pretty perfect draw for this stage of the season.
If we win, the second best team in the league are out.

The flip side, if we lose. Who really cares? In one cup final, should progress in Europe and then go balls deep for the league.
The pressure is off, if we went out to a lesser side, or out to the dippers or the rags it would be headline news, it would be all about our collapse.
Play a side similar to Saturday, and lose, then the headlines won't be as severe. Afterall a loss at Chelsea is not the end of the World normally, but in our fourth priority and their only real means of domestic success it's certainly a pressure off game as I see it.

The only real negative for me, there's a very real probability of a draw.

Yeah a result either way is the best outcome. No replay please

Isn't it the 20th?

How many have we been allocated for this? Hopefully more than at villa so I can go.
I mentioned this earlier in the thread, for away cup allocations the home club will offer the away club 15% of the capacity (which at Chelsea will be 6250 or there abouts) but then it's up to the away club to decide whether to take that up or not. For example, at Everton we took up about 700 fewer tickets than we were originally offered and for Chelsea away, with Kiev and Wembley being the week after, i've got a feeling City won't bother taking up the 6000+ because they might think we wouldn't shift them.

I'll care if we lose, the FA Cup is my favourite competition (Premier Lg is the most important), but it just means that we can concentrate on other things if we don't have the extra games in the FA Cup.

But the rest is spot on. There are only two good teams in this country - forget Arsenal, despite having some excellent players they're nowhere near as good as us and Chelsea - and we've been drawn against each other. If we win i have confidence that we can draw any other team in later rounds and do them in!

Ah ok. Thanks for the reply.

Don't get me wrong, I care, I was desperate for tickets Saturday. But at present it's 4th in our list of priorities considering our progression in the other comps. But as I say, fuck it. Beat them and we'll win that too.

City will be offered 6,000 our whole shed end(which pisses me off-away fans in the shed)

Genuine question do you think you'll sell 6,000? i'd be surprised if you didnt especially as the tickets are cheaper.

Heard any confirmed date or time at your end yet? As you can appreciate it's a slow news day up here.
