Of course anyone would take the league but for some club's marketing perspective and long-term business I might think that 6-1 is more important and brought much more to Manchester City brand than any title would.

Not exactly.

Mourinho's or Ancelotti's Chelsea titles are pretty much forgotten and when mentioned don't pull any special trigger. Our first one might be different but still that "1-6" was the launching rocket for club's brand and if it didn't happen we would still be on same global position like last year (if we won 1:0 for ex.)

For me its well forgotten and the sooner we win and play very well away from home,then just maybe we have a good chance of winning the League.
