Very impressive, didn't look like a new signing, slotted in perfectly, kept it clean and was composed on the ball. He has a good future with us.

Must be fucking pinching himself playing for a side so dominant.

Credit to the ref though and Stones and Mendy who gave him a 10 minute reminder of what its like to play in a crap back 4 ;-)

I couldn`t believe some of the negativity on this very forum, from those who thought we had paid way too much for his services.
The lad has always been one of my favourite players and last night proved what a bargain buy this could be for us.Nothing fancy, won some great headers, read the game well and nice to see him pass some wonderful balls.
Love the lad even more now he`s wearing our sky blue colours.
Well done Nathan.

Excellent debut. Looked like he'd been with us for years.
His reading of the game and his ability to quickly intercept and snuff out danger was very impressive and his comfort on the ball was obvious.
Lots to be positive about regarding this signing.

Tidy first game. Looked like hed been playing for us for ages. Must have been a big change from his Bournemouth experience. Probably loved it.

Not sure I’d go that far but he already looks extremely underrated by everyone.

Think he can actually push Laporte at LCB and even Mendy at LB.

I didn't say better, but the best since Komps.....which isn't to hard :)

Did very well apart from a couple of rash passes where he neither looked up nor had the composure to take his time.

But that’s me being very harsh on him begsuee outside a few of those passes he was really impressive.

Not the best quality comp out there but its the only one that I found that included his one block. Overall pretty solid performance. Looked really composed majority of the times passing around the back and was very decent in the air I think. His recovery speed is going to be an extremely important addition to our back line moving forward.

On that one Wolves chance at around 0:56 in the video, where Jimenez cut in inside to his left and then rolled it back to either Neto/Silva, his covering was really impressive for me, not only did he deny any gap for Jimenez to take a shot, his pace to close down the Wolves player which led to him having to take an early shot/cross was very nice. It isn't much but these are the little things that lead to half a chance and eventually a goal scoring opportunity.
