Well done Everton and well done Wales - thoroughly deserved.
 
Wales were far superior today and it was a well deserved victory, however England need to have a word with the IRB and ensure that Steve Walsh isn't allowed to referee us ever again. Don't get me wrong we wouldn't have wouldn't have won anyway but he has a passionate hatred of the English.

Well done to the Welsh. I find it hard work watching England. At least Wales attempt to move the ball out wide and play some sort of an expansive game. They deserved to win the title by virtue of scoring 9 tournament tries as opposed to 5 by England.

I said to my mate; a chronic lack of creativity would let England down.

5 tries all tournamnet and unable to score a try at home against Italy will not unduly concern the southern hemisphere giants.
 
Well Big Gaz I told you so. I would never ever write off the Welsh even after the Irish game I never wrote them off. I knew England would bottle it. I am gutted for Ireland its a joke of a 6 Nations for Ireland getting beaten by Italy and Scotland is a shocker. Also a draw against France when it looked like a win was in our hands again poor. The worst 6 Nations that I have seen. I know you cant always blame injuties but we lacked leadership and Johnny Sexton as a kicker and to control the games what started well ended badly and must seen the end of Kidney as manager just cant see him surviving this season.

A new Ireland team will have to be sorted new faces in management but Kidney was the man to bring Ireland a first grand slam which was great. I know we have the players there to get a grand slam just finding the right combination. Players to come back as well in many positions which will add strenght to the squad as well just a poor poor 6 Nations. Well done to Italy by the way finishing ahead of Ireland and France they are slowly but surely getting better and better.

Big Gaz I am guessing you still have a sore head now mate. Wales deserved it big time. Out played out battled England and ran riot. As for England they are dire to watch. Still a kicking team. I dont know what it is with them but its kick kick kick. They have got some good wingers but dont use them wide. I wonder were all of these English lads are now. I told them all they would win the grand slam having to go to Wales and Ireland and in the end I was right.

You really need to let this England hatred go,Leighton.
The bitterness just oozes through every post.
We can just about stomach it on the racing threads,although even there it is becoming boring,but now you seem incapable of posting anywhere without having a go.
England lost one match.
Ireland only won one match.
So now you are an honorary Welshman for the day,and think you can take the piss because another country beat England.
It is simply tiresome.
And before you say anything,both of my parents were Irish.

After the Wales game of course I thought we had a chance I thought we had a chance before it. Sadly it didnt work out for whatever reason. Injuries losing key men in key positions. Not scoring trys when we had chances to do so. I can garantee that next season Ireland will be a much stronger force. None of these players will want to see another 6 Nations like this.
Next year we will hopefully have Paul O Connell , Stephen Ferris , Tommy Bowe , Gordon Darcy and Johnny Sexton all back in the starting line up when fit they always start. Add to that Szebo as well all competing for a place in the squad.
Granted Ireland have been poor in the hooking position. Need to sort that out. Also the front row is a major worry as a whole for me. I just think the rest from 4 to 15 Ireland have more than enough talent to do well in the 6 Nations. See what happens in the summer and see what changes happen and were it brings us.

His posts are bordering on pathetic now. I wouldn't mind if it was funny but he just reminds me of a sad man sat at his computer wearing nothing but a 4 leaf clover and wanking to some Irish jig.

England in a sporting sense will always have the piss ripped out of them off the Welsh, Scots and Irish and usually it's fair game. But for Leighton to get all high and mighty after they finished bottom and lost to England and Italy really is sad.

Its been a strange six nations and Gartland will be having second thoughts about some players in light of the lions tour. I do think big Sam will get the captains job as long as he's fit.So bring on the Aussies and we can all unite under the lions banner ;-)

Nice one Gaz. As for the Lions be lucky if Ireland even get 3 to 5 players picked for it. After that shocking 6 Nations they dont deserve any more. My 3 would be O Driscoll if he plays on , Sexton and Rob Kearney should be nailed on. The other 2 with a chance O Brien and Ryan but that would be it all.

Also to the English lads. I have been slated on here time and time again. Grow up and take it on the chin. Fucking hell its sport at the end of the day. I know passions grow in any sport. Also to say I am anti English get the fuck out of it. I know its the easy way out to bring that up time and time again. I know we are here to debate all things which is fine with me if we all had the same views these websites would never ever work well thank god that it isnt the same and these sites are worth looking at. Anti English be like be saying all of the English on here are Anti Irish. You got to laugh.

Anyway well done to the Welsh on winning the 6 Nations. No matter what would of happen I would said it the same about the English if they won the Grand Slam or the championship sadly that didnt happen.

You have never,ever congratulated an English win in any sport on here,and I doubt you ever will.
You barely mentioned any English successes at the Cheltenham Festival,yet never missed an opportunity to big up any Irish success.
Anyone reading your posts on here can see the bitterness,and if England had won yesterday I doubt we would have heard from you,but now you're gloating over a Welsh success,which is simply sad.
Patriotism is all well and good,as is pride in your country.
But you go way beyond that,and just seem to revel in any poor English performance at anything.
Even when every single racing expert in the country said that Frankel was the best racehorse ever,you still wouldn't have it,because it wasn't trained in Ireland.
Your glasses need a serious clean,because they are greener than the turf at the Curragh,and stop you being objective.
