First game of last season against WHU we had 36000. On Saturday against Wolves we had 47000. An increase of 11000 in a year and we have still not won out. A couple of years of sustained success and maybe the odd trophy 60000 will sell out no problem.

Heard it's £45 for an Arsenal ticket, and was almost £40 for Wolves, seems a bit steep to me

Im sure i read on here that if and when the stadium is extended be it CoMS or a stadium built just down the road, that the club were going to reduce season ticket prices dramatically. I think 300 notes for the dearest seats was quoted in some quarters

I'd think it quite silly to extend the stadium at the moment. We're only really selling out the big games and would need demand to far outstrip supply in order to justify a much larger capacity in the ground.
It'll take a decade or so of success for City to get the younger generations to sway their allegiance to the blue side. Couple this with a low price season ticket policy which the club currently have and we could almost wipe out a generation of support for united in Manchester anyway.

With better players will come more success and with more success will come more supporters. And even if we only make capacity on half the games it will be worth it. I also think that if all goes to plan in the next ten years we could be looking at filling a 70k seater stadium.
