Let down by Akanji, I think. He needed a veteran to guide him in the debut. This isn't to alleviate blame. He had his share of poor play too.

Akanji doesn’t seem the sort to direct things. He wasn’t great and it didn’t help the young lad. Thought he had really good moments. He had bad moments as well. Nonetheless, he’ll be fine.

Had a great cameo at Spurs but really struggled tonight. Not surprisingly really because he was up against a good forward line.
We've got a better CB out on loan at Norwich.

Gyökeres Had him rattles early doors after he broke through with that first 1 on 1 with ederson miss…knew we’d have issues…not 4-1 issues tho

Not his fault. Piss poor from Pep to expose him like that. Asking him to defend 1v1 at best and often outnumbered against one of the world's most in form strikers is crazy. Hope the lad is able to shake that off, not fair on him at all. Showed enough good moments for me.

Totally agree. Absolute madness from Pep this one.

Kid will have grown up a lot and should be proud of his accomplishments in the past week. It’s a team game and none of what happened was his fault. He blamed himself for their first goal, but I’m not sure there was much more he could do than perhaps be one step further back.

well done to the young man for his decent first half showing. Got torn to bits in the second as the seniors offered zero support, but i think he can be proud of his 1st half showing.

Didn't do a great deal wrong but can't see him being around the 1st team next season.
Well behind callum doyle.
