Wow 1998! I remember watching this on my new 5.1 surround system, bullets flying all over the room. And the base when those tanks rumbled. Great film.

Long time ago in a different life when i was teaching in London i took a school party to Normandy for a week, did Bayeux Tapestry, Mont St Michel etc. then had an afternoon at the U.S. war cemetery (at Arromanches, i think.) Most of the kids were respectful and a even in awe but a couple of scallies were pissing about & being generally objectionable. Two of the French gardeners tending to the graves did what the teachers in charge weren't allowed to do, followed us out and gave them a good smack before they get back on the tour bus.
