Touché. Although, his greatest test will come when they play PSG in the champions league. He’s a top player no doubt, although letting him go was definitely the right decision to keep a unified camp during a crucial next few months. But, I also remember a few years back when he was hooked at half time away at PSG due to a poor showing defensively and replaced by Zinchenko. He didn’t play again in that competition that season.Delighted he’s playing well so far.
I hope he’s their best player between now and the end of the season, scoring and assisting for fun whilst playing a key role in the best back four in Germany - that way either Bayern will be so desperate to sign him they’ll take up their option, or some other Club will come in and outbid them.
