Hope we start playing those early balls before he gives up on those runs :)

yes i did like some games from frankfurt...atm i`m not convinced he`s better all around player than Foden,Bobb,Savio & even Doku but time will tell
He doesnt need to be a better all round player than those named he needs to be himself. He brought a level of straight forward running at the defence that caused the chelsea defence problems , this in turn gave more room to Erl who then was able to run at the defence as well . I think the space that those two give each other will be fantastic in the future .

Decent debut considering he only signed this week. Once he settles in and gets to know how we play I'm more than confident he will prove to be an excellent signing.

Haven't seen the match yet, but if that is so, then it is exactly what Erling has needed all season long. If they can both learn to play off each other, then they could both score a shedload of goals.

That is exactly what we need after months of sideways and backwards. Someone that has the bollocks to take it on themselves.
Sorry, but if the places had been reversed and Phil didn't play Marmoush in that one instance, the majority would be calling Phil a selfish this, that, and the other.

But the places weren’t reversed and I wouldn’t call anyone selfish for taking on a chance from that range that they fancy. It was his first game in a team he doesn’t know and he wanted to make his mark. He is confident. His play off the ball was generally direct which will no doubt open up the pitch for others.

So many of his excellent runs got ignored. We really need to do something about this. For his sake, for Haalands sake. These two are too good to be ignored. World-class.
I know we don't even have 90 minutes with them alongside each other yet but if we can call this right then it could have all time premier league strike partnerships written all over it.

Exciting and I think when he asked akanji to play the ball sooner it really helped the team, that's when the long balls started and Chelsea defence struggled to cope with the 2 of them.
