Some people think players need to adapt to the team but more often the team adapts to great players, not the other way around!

Omar has forced Pep to change our entire setup and here you are complaining he needs to adapt:

The first 30 minutes were his best in a blue shirt to date I felt. Really direct. Much more in tune with the movement around him. Much quieter second half but still a threat.

Did well first 30 then faded a bit. He does some things really well but not the finished article yet so hard work ahead to become that. Looks promising though.

I was wondering last night where his best position is, is it behind Haaland when he’s fit or wide left. He gave their fullback a torrid time in the first half.

All in at the moment he’s scored 27 goals and 16 assists for Frankfurt and City this season. Not a bad return that.

He’d be very good playing on the left and cutting in, with a full back overlapping and providing some space for him.

Hopefully the summer transfer window will make that happen.

If the left is somewhere that Pep sees him playing then it’s definitely the end of the road for Grealish now I think if we can find a taker.

Considering his refusal to ever play Grealish it is very fair to say it is the end of the road either way. I liked Marmoush drifting to the left last night, I think that is his spot when Haaland is back.

Seemed to be shunted out to the right when doku came on with de bruyne being more of a false 9.
Don't think he is suited out there

Baller, versatile, direct on goal, very good in tight spaces & good in set pieces . I need to see more of him

Superb again, he'll be even more deadly with a true goal scorer like Haaland.

He's grown on me very quickly, but that incredible run at the end by him was capped off by him making an incredibly selfish decision to try and beat another man when Savinho was wide open(I know he likely would have made a mess if it anyway).

Without his signature in January we would be 9th or 10th in the league and out the FA Cup to Bournemouth.

One of the most important transfers we have made in last 5 years.
