He's grown on me very quickly, but that incredible run at the end by him was capped off by him making an incredibly selfish decision to try and beat another man when Savinho was wide open(I know he likely would have made a mess if it anyway).
I joked that he saw Savinho and said fuck it I'll go alone.

Well, we found out he's not a RW.
You do realize that once you get used to something, going back to how things were always requires an adjustment period, right? I’ve watched Marmoush enough to know he can play across the entire front three. It’s just a matter of adaptation and adjusting to the change of position — and that may take a few games. But the versatility is there, and once he settles, he'll be effective wherever he's placed.

Not his best game but it can happen. I think he is more effective from the middle and I would play him there, but he would also look much better as a winger with a striker like Haaland and not Gundogan.

Not a winger.

Seems utterly bizarre to buy a striker for £60m and then stubbornly insist on playing him anywhere and everywhere but up front. A bit like refusing to play Josko at CB until there was no other option. But that’s why Pep gets the big bucks and it may be a short term fix until CL is secured

Marmoush is obviously a good player but is he City good? Would he get in Madrid, Bayern, PSG’s team? Remain to be convinced on what I’ve seen so far though obviously will be delighted to be proven wrong next season.

He will score goals but fuck me, his ball control is borderline championship standard. The first touch of Jimmy Savile

Peripheral tonight. Mind you he was on the receiving end of plenty of unpunished attention like quite a few of our lads.

Probably not use to the physical pace of this league but he soon will be.

Being used as a winger to allow control elsewhere for the sake of the run in.

Pep found a tactic that has worked - amidst a lot that haven’t - and has stuck with it. And it’s paid off.

I’m sure next season we’ll see Marmoush unleashed. He’ll bounce off Haaland well.

Poor tonight. Another one that seemingly isn't close to being as comfortable on the right, that's doku, savinho and marmoush who all perform best from the left.

Very odd, it does make you wonder about the rumours.
The transfer window is looking very odd. Marmoush has some promise but still hit and miss, the two CB’s not been seen for weeks and Gonzalez gets a minute here and there. The fact he brings Lewis and McAtee on before him is a concern. I don’t think Pep has been overly impressed with him so far judging by his game time.
