Marmoush is a better player, Mbuemos first year where can indeed hit a barn door, wouldn’t be any better than Doku or Savinho for us

Each to their own I guess we all have different opinions
Mbuemo has scored some goals in the last couple of years for an average team and always looks lively
I would also hazard a guess ( may be wrong ) that the majority on here including you hadn’t heard of Marmoush until we signed him
For clarity I don’t dislike him I think he has been good since he arrived and I’m looking forward to seeing how he goes next season

In a way, he reminds me a lot like Sterling.

Both had flaws in their game. But also had some magic that couldn't be fully bottled.

His control is loose. His passing is shaky.
, his physicality is meh. But he is electric, sudden, quick/explosive if not fast. and decisive.

He will become one of those WC players with permanent detractors.

I feel like if he can work on his first touch he will give himself even more chances at goal and become next level. Currently thought it's bouncing off him. Great start to his city career mind given he came into a floundering city team halfway through a poor season.

Thought he did OK and worked hard, but there has to be more energy product in those chances that fall his way

Can't afford to have another attacking player that can't take the chances when they arrive

Half a season at City, I'd give him a 7/10 with the assumption there is more to come once he's had a proper pre season and his body is setup for Premier league football

If we can figure out a way to get him and Erling on the same page next season there is no ceiling.

The 4-4-2 with overlapping FBs/Wide midfielders is perfect for his game, as it allows him to go wide early or slide into the channels, then pull inside.

Really looking forward to seeing him next season!
