7 | Omar Marmoush - 2025/26

I find it a bit strange or worrying that no news has come out of their journalists regarding the extent of the injury. Maybe City have asked their medical staff to stay silent? Or maybe the initial scans are insufficient and they leave it to City to establish the extent of the injury?

Also the training with city doesnt help. Something needs to change in training
The facts don't support that. We went many seasons with low injuries aside from the odd major one which happens at every club and even now our situation isn't much worse than most of the clubs who, like ourselves play lots of games and have players who play for their countries. Its not the training its the ludicrous number of games and schedule

He’s hardly been that good since he joined anyway to be fair.

Are you high??

We wouldn't be in the Champions League this season if it were not for the production of Omar Marmoush and Matteus Nunes.. 2 guys who this forum loves to say are useless but put up G+A's!

Gone are the days of Ruben Dias providing a solid backline along with Akanji and Ake.

Gone are the days of KDB magically assisting comebacks.

Gone are the days when our wingers would score 40 goals a season.

We're not in 2017-2024 anymore.. Omar in 2025 has been one of our stellar performers!

Unfortunately I’m not.

I agree he has been one of our better players since he’s joined. I still don’t think he’s been that good, that’s a testament to how poor the team has been of late. Other than 2 games I don’t think he has done much and he disappears away from home with regularity. He had a poor at the tail end to the season, poor CWC and a poor start to this season, although he was one of our better players 1st half v Brighton. I think he will come good but im just saying what I see.

The whole team is playing like shit because the system has been found out.

The only players that're successful are players we'd like to think don't belong in a Pep system.. so they become the X-factor but their effectiveness is massively reduced then by the rest of the team trying to get them to work inside the system.

Sadly it is the system. And Pep needs to tinker with it and fix it again!

Christ that highlights how poor we have become
