Can only imagine he stayed on the pitch as he was defending well against bissaka and covered with James.

When he went through on goal did anybody believe he was gonna score?

No and neither did he. He’s been chased by Maguire in the 1st half and Lindelof in the 2nd and he hasn’t been able to sprint away from either. Looks like he has never run with a ball at his feet before and he is trying to figure it out.

I thought Walker's drop in form earlier was stark but that was nothing compared to Sterling, her is literally no better than Jesse fucking Lingard currently. Needs a very long break at the worst possible point of the season, if Sane isn't fit for Madrid we haven't got a hope.

It was a dilemma for Pep whether to rest him or try to play him back into form. I don’t blame him for trying the latter but it’s clearly gone a couple of games too far now.

He’ll have to ease his way back in off the bench. There are more deserving guys sat there.

Talented lad, great member of the squad but not a big game player, he doesn't have the mentality for it and his record against the top clubs shows it. Did anyone really think he'd score when he got one on one with De Gea? Such a frustrating player, particularly given how hard he works and all the good things he does.
