What is world class Craig ? My belief is its a player who takes a big game by the scruff of the neck and single handedly wins it , Messi and Ronaldo have this in abundance , so in that league , Sterling has a long way to go , i think he will develop into a great player , and he will be the first £200m player, if that matters a jot.

Tbf Messi is far beyond world class, no other winger comes close. PSG and Liverpool are the only teams with genuinely world class wingers(best of the rest). Others used to be and others have the potential to be, Sterling falls into neither category

I'd play a Sané struggling for match fitness if it means Sterling plays on the right. He's lost all his ability to cut in and score. Now he's just a speed and dribbling merchant

Also you can see why Leroy wants the same deal as Sterling. I dont blame him at all but for some reason the club is reluctant to give him that, yet they have no problem giving even more dosh for Sterling

If you are saying Sterling hasnt got the potential to be a world class player , i will politely disagree , he certianly has the potential , whether he fulfils his potential is anyone's guess.
