If you are just going to be a goal scorer and offer next to nothing else, you need to be bagging 30+ per season, every season in this side. He did it last season, so got a pass for his poor performances overall. He’d need a fucking miracle to get 30+ this season the way he is playing. His movement off the ball is unreal and with his pace, 1v1 should be his bread and butter, yet he is fucking terrible at them.
He is clearly contributing , he is a winger and not a striker , pep keeps playing him on his weaker side, so he shares some fault here

One of the things I don't understand with @FantasyIreland (and you're not the only one but you are the most prominent) is why you can never just stop at saying a player is out of form or had a bad game.

You always, always have to want them out of the club as well and make out as if they've always been shit and always will be in the future.

It's barely a month since you posted on the transfer forum this list of players that needed to be sold -

Players out
----------------
Zinchenko
Mahrez
Gundogan
Bernardo
Sterling
Dinho
Garcia
Mendy
Why is it you can never just think someone is out of form? Why can't you just say, he's still out of form or talk about the specifics of the performance instead of calling for a player to be sold after every game.

Don’t play him at Clanfield but we will. Foden has got to play and and it’s between Sterling and Mahrez.
At least Mahrez looks like a footballer and has a level of control about his game

That's like having a pilot whose shit at landing..
I am not getting on that plane lol

I love awkard players , l love edin and all the gifs about him trying to control a ball , raz is contributing just fine , we have just won a record amount of games in all comps with him in the team. All this he is the weak link, goodbye, is bollocks

The amount of shit he gets off City fans is staggering. We were all horrified at the grief he got from those Neanderthals at Stamford Bridge. And continues to get off the Mickeys. In a different way (non racial, I'd hope), he gets nearly as much stick off City fans. Certainly on here, anyway.
And yes; I'm fully aware of his shortcomings. I'm seeing him as much as anybody on here this season. I'm not blind. In one on one's, he's hopeless. You don't need to tell me what I already know. He'll never be an out and out striker. Even if he is (I think?) our leading scorer this season.
And yes; I'm equally aware of the right to free speech, and that everyone is entitled to an opinion. Though I am in discussions with Ric about that.

Brilliant tonight. The end product wasn't always there but that is the best he has played off the left in a long long time. Held his position out wide superbly and there are really good signs that he can still do a job out there when we have somebody else to put on the right.

The pitch never felt narrow despite the inverted wingers and that is to both of their credit.

Wow, why so much hate for one of our players?

Agreed he’s been off form this season, but he contributes so much to the team with his intelligent running & timing of his runs along with his work rate off the ball. He always has 2 players on him, yet still finds space & pulls the opposition defence all over the show

Last season when he didn’t play, we always looked devoid of ideas & didn’t look like scoring.

There’s a reason he’s been one of the first names on the team sheet for the past 3 years.

Those who are saying he’s shit, doesn’t do this, doesn’t do that need to take their heads for a wobble & question why Pep keeps on picking him if he’s shit or not good enough for us. Quite laughable

He's always going to be an awkward fuck of a player. But as long as he's working hard for the team, stretching defences, and scoring, I can't complain.

Too much focus on this thread on negatives but Raz is joint top scorer for us in the league and 2nd of assists.

His form hasn't been the best this season but he only Kev has more goal involvements.

Raz causes opponents problems and he quite clearly gets the positional play game that City play, which is why Pep keeps picking him. There's nothing more tiresome on this forum than people thinking they remotely know better than Pep who should be in the team.
