Gives 100% every game, never injured, well liked by teammates & a perfect role model - added to his speed, quick thinking, touch, etc, etc.

He's also very prolific and effective in what he does. 104 goals in 250 games for City (and still only 25).

Will go down as a club legend and that transfer fee looks like peanuts.

Sterling looks like a player who thinks he as made it. Compare to KDB who isnt arsed about adverts etc and will run and drive until hes pink in the face, im sorry even as a staunch city fan I can't/dont believe sterlings hype. My first idol for city was Peter Barnes and yes he was flimsy in physic compared to todays well looked after players but he had 1 thought process....skin your full back and create havoc. Not look good and play it back for possesion safety bollocks blah blah

There's a persistent Sterling hater some rows behind me who slags him off regardless of his performance. I didn't manage to positively identify him before lockdown.

Sterling has developed so much I can hardly recognise the lad at times. I am not talking goals or assists as the improvement is obvious. His Mentality and leadership qualities are excellent. I always thought Kev shld take over long term captaincy but Serling has to be considered. Grit and determination is what we need. Hope he signs a new long term deal.

2 goals in League Cup against Burnley doesn't count at all, that's not even a tournament.

1 good goal in 6 matches and 1 tap in against arsenal is all he did in PL and CL.

Even today - left back Cancelo is more active and involved in the attacks than Left Winger Sterling..

And we are talking about the second best payed player in the team and captain after Debruyne..
