#7 | Raheem Sterling - 2020/21 Performances

In the build up to the goal is probably the best dribble I've seen from him at City. Maybe it's unfair to expect that from him all the time because it's not where his strengths lie but I wish we could see more of that from him.

Sterling is on fire this season - he's killing it against opponents when taking them on one-or-two v. one on our left - he's the key to breaking down set defenses as once he gets past his man/men, he'll be in position to deliver a telling cross.

Too, Sterling is a threat running across the penalty box - if you let him inside, he can run past you and slot the ball into the back of the net.

I think that Sterling is our best offensive player so far this year.

He is playing well but I think he needs a little rest which is not possible at the moment. I also think that the miss against Lyon in the quarters is weighing on his mind and he is over thinking his finishing. He needs something big to happen, a bit like the dribble at the weekend but with a goal for him at the end. Then I really think he will kick on and score 30 in all comps this season

It's a myth that hes always terrible against them but today he was awful. One of his worst performances in years. Feels like he's in need of a big break.

Raheem Mahrez.

How many games is he going to get away with being an absolute passenger before getting called out on here? If he is going to continue putting in dogshit performances game after game, he has to finish the guilt-edged chances put on a plate for him. If he doesn’t score, which at the moment he isn’t, he is just a complete waste of space.
