I don’t want to slag him off to much because he’s the best forward we’ve got by a country mile, but what the fuck was he doing with that chance. We’ve seen make that same decision dozens of times.

No idea why he didnt just shoot when through on goal. By far our most dangerous and best offensive player though.

I agree and therein lies the problem. What top sides most dangerous attacking threat finishes as badly as him? I’m watching shite like Calvert-Lewin looking like prime Shearer in comparison to Sterling.

We are impotent and he is a large reason why imo. Our problems lie in our poor attack, more than our poor defense or our poor midfield or our poor goalkeeping. Not to mind our poor management. Poor us.

If you could put Aguero's brain in Sterling's body you would have the best player in the world. He just thinks too much when he is clean through on goal when all he should be thinking about is putting his laces through it.

It’s hard to criticise the only guy that scores for us in the absence of Aguero but he really should be scoring those 1v1’s.

I know he scored coming in from the left but in that position that’s his entire contribution to the side, if he doesn’t cut in and score he offers next to nothing else because he has to check and come on to his right foot all the time which for any half competent defender able to keep pace with him is bread and butter. He no longer makes the runs off the ball like he used to and drops too deep to get involved in the build up in positions that should be occupied by the midfielders leaving us with an incredibly static forward line.

Other than not making enough runs I don’t blame sterling for most of this, he doesn’t choose where he plays and he’s just doing as he’s told but when he’s on the left we transition to relying on individual moments to score rather than our team play and tactics getting us goals, His recent assists record backs this up.

I’m desperate to see him back on the right and a return to those beautiful team goals that lead to so many tap ins, he’s the only guy in our squad that can help us recreate those plays since Sanes departure but sadly it’s not going to happen.

Slag me off but i don,t rate him as world class.
Very rare he'll go past a top defender, gases up way too much, 1 run leads to 10 mins of not wanting the ball or playing it back if he does receive it. Misses chances i can't believe at times and if he as got time to think about what to do with the ball, usually it will break down with him.
Yes he scores goals, but in the last decade of city we've played football to score goals, lots of them.
EG last season Kev created 100 assists of goal scoring opportunities, 20 resulted in goal assists.
Less time doing the adverts Raz and more time proving you really have progressed as a top top forward/player.
