He was better than he had been previously this season for the first 20 minutes last night. Being on the right helps with that, but was just as bobbins as ever after a decent start.

That attacking chance in the second half on the left sums him up over the last year and more. The hesitation hesitation hesitation and losing the opportunity to cross, and then the bobbins dive at the end of it, is simply nowhere near good enough.

The dive was a disgrace,had it been an opposition usual suspect we wouldnt have heard the end of it,as he's one of our own most are pretending it didnt happen.

Anyway,that disappointing side of his game apart.....he realy does need to start controlling games more,instead of being content to pass that baton to others.

Do you mean putting sterling on market? I have no problem giving up sterling if we were a club that actually spends money on established high class players (which we are not).
 
Yeah, if we put him up for sale in the summer, what would be a reasonable valuation
80 M for me but he aren't going anywhere. Pep likes him too much. We will never find his replacement immediately. I think a lot of German and Spanish clubs would line up for him.
