He’s going nowhere though that’s the problem. No club is going to give us £50m+ for him in the current environment and pay him the £250k+ pw wages he would demand and we won’t sell him for nothing to offset the wage costs.

City are in an awful position with him. We have to give him some games and have to pay him a fortune every week. He plays shite - he walks away for nothing. He plays well - we scramble around trying to sign him up on a new contract and he bends us over and tears into us.
 
It’s all because he has started doing these Gillette adverts on the telly.

same thing happened with joe hart. Brilliant , started a tv career doing head & shoulders ads and his form went to shit.

he should start looking at houses in Glasgow now , he could end up at celtic.
 
I'm not arsed what colour Sterling is because he'd still be playing shite. I've previously defended hiss loss of form but he's so out of sorts that it's gonna be very hard for him to get back to his best.

He's been going downhill since Madrid turned his head and I'd be tempted to sell him in January whilst he can still command a decent fee because if he plans to run down his contract on current form then he's clearly taking the piss.

Probabaly something to do with the fact that he consistently plays shite. Where as with others today is the exception...not the norm.

Not the worst today, but absolutely worst *over a period of time* of let's say, last 9 months? Has anyone been as consistently bad as him?

So maybe he doesn't deserve the most criticism for today (although one of the worst), but if you take into account his form, yes he does deserve to be the most criticized, fairly.
