70 years driving, never had a licence or insurance, or accident.

My mum is 71 and has a driving licence. She passed her test about 35 years ago, and hasn't really driven more than 200 miles since.
An unusual topic this, funnily enough my Mrs passed her test over 30 years ago, drove about
two miles, and hasn't drove since. How the fuck she passed a test I'll never know, she's
got no road sense, or directional ability, I sometimes wonder what she did to pass it!

Likewise my mum. She's a nightmare as a passenger, and the times I've been in the car with her when she's driven I have genuinely feared for my life.

Sounds like my Mam, although she never took a test, she had 3 lessons, on the third they convinced her to actually start the engine up ( yes she spent the first two lessons just sat in the car) which, she did reluctantly, then got out and walked off and said “nah, not for me”.
Still the best “back seat driver” I’ve ever known though ;-)

Maybe she asked the driving instructor to pull out whilst doing a tricky manoeuvre
