76 and 77 bus

Used to get the 24 to stevenson sq then the 76 match bus . For a while selnec made all kids buses 2p. At the time it was 30p to get in the kippax so 38p the lot travel & entrance

I remember 30p to get in the Kippax! Talking mid 70's here i reckon. Used to get the same 24 bus for 2p. I was given 50p to go to the game so i could afford a programme and a bag of chips as well!

i use to get the 77 from moston on st marrys road near to old ferranties

great days of going to maine road and loved the night games and running for the last bus or getting the 76 to newton heath and walking the rest and singing city songs

Jeez I can remember trolley buses on Lloyd street!
