Cant really see us bringing in new signings in Jan just because of that month's fixtures. Would they be eligible for the cups? Any signings we make need to be for the long term. And will need to be given time to fit in. To a large extent the signings we make will depend on players moving on eg Tevez, Kolo, Bridge, Onuhua.

Stop being so bloody negative. Next you'll be saying we might not qualify for the next round of the CL and then go on to win it.

I was thinking we might be a bit more defensive than usual that's all. You think we might be a bit more advernturous and open up the potential for leaking a goal or two? Mmmm possible I suppose, but on a positive note , we'd score a lot more.

Absolutely no way that Kolo can leave in Jan having looked at that fixture pile up. This is the first time that I fully understand needing 2 quality players in each position in 35 years of supporting City!!

As a previous poster said, lets just hope none of our games are called off in Jan due to snow etc, could just leave us in an impossible position even with the squad we have!

If yesterday is anything to go by we'll be fine, no one broke sweat. We are master at keeping the ball and destroying teams in the 2nd half. 8 wins no problem.

if we're 5 points or more clear at the top of the table, in the 4th round of the fa cup, and in the final of the carling cup in febuary then we fuckin deserve to win the league, looking forward to next month, huge test of our squad
