quieter overall game but if you stick it in the top corner then you pretty much make up for it. Bringing a consistent contribution to the table now which is all he was asked to do.

Gundogan divides opinion but I don’t think anyone will question he is currently in his best ever form at the club. He’s currently playing at a level he had consistently failed to reach (as an 8) at City. The majority of his good work here had been as a 6. If he had been showing this level of performance over the past few seasons, I would have never had an issue with him.
