The problem was that we had nobody on the bench that can come on and play in the same way as Gundo. Maybe Foden or Mahrez could have been brought on to play on the right and Bernado moved to the centre but he was not having his best game either.Started well but got worse and worse. Don't disagree it's an area we are lacking strength in but Bernardo was on the pitch and should have been brought central. Kalvin-Philips should be an option as a sub in that situation but has not shown enough to be trusted against the likes of Madrid.
