8 | Ilkay Gundogan - 2022/23

There was a spell last season where Gundogan wasn't playing much and looked lethargic when he did, thought it might be the beginning of the end. Thankfully not the case but it might be clever from both parties now to let hm leave for Barca. Gundogan extends his longevity in a softer league, we need more legs and drive for those two positions behind Haarland. We have enough control on games to stop it happening regularly but our midfield can look ragged if forced to recover quickly back to help the defence, Madrid's goal a good example.
 
We might get a clue this afternoon, with him and Bernado playing what would be the last home game, if they get on, we might see the body language give it away. Personally I want both to stay
